As an attorney, Matt is passionate about helping people plan for and respond to life’s transitions. For example, by helping people plan for when they are no longer able to make decisions for themselves and creating a road map to achieve their goals throughout one’s lifetime and eventual death. When a loved one dies, he can assist you through every step of the process to help ensure the efficient and orderly transfer of assets through trust and probate administrations.

Matt has been named as a Rising Star by Wisconsin Super Lawyers (2015 – 2020) and has served as a faculty member for the probate and estate planning section of the Lawyering Skills Program at the University of Wisconsin Law School. He has also been a presenter and author at seminars presentations, including Estate Planning Basics, and The Probate Process from Start to Finish.

Matt is a proud double Badger, completing both undergraduate and law school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (B.A. ’07, J.D. ’10). He lives in Madison with his wife and daughters. His bucket list includes traveling to every National Park and Major League Baseball stadium.

Matthew was honored to be named Time’s Person of the Year for 2006.
